I feel like I can be one of the true testaments (among other of course) to the power of this conference. I can attest to trying to talk myself out of going each year. I have gone through all the emotions of should I or should I not go. I am a person who makes plans and backs out at times because I don’t “feel” like going. I have felt that fear of being an odd ball at events such as this conference. But even if for some CRAZY (it would have to be) reason Kasey doesn’t say words that meet everyone’s needs, someone speaking at this conference will! I’m a BELIEVER in that FOR SURE! That’s one thing I am NOT afraid of….being disappointed.

I attended the 2019 SCWW conference thanks to the generosity of a person who paid my way when our church was struggling and could not afford to send a group of women as they had done in previous years. At the conference, I met and kept in touch with a lady who invited me to hear her share her testimony at Jesus in the Park during the summer of 2019. I was very impressed with Jesus in the Park and took the concept back to my town where we have started Jesus in the Park. As a result, our town had a spiritual awakening and our church has grown immensely, which is allowing us to bring many ladies to the 2020 SCWW conference. All of this began with one person’s generosity and willingness to make sure I was able to attend the SCWW conference. Thank you to all who are involved in putting this conference together and having a vision to minister to ladies in rural Missouri, who otherwise might never be able to attend such an event.
